「沉香雅韻」收錄了本地作曲家為中國樂器組合所寫的原創音樂。這張唱片的第一首作品是盧家熾的《霜醉楓林》，靈感來自香港新界的景色。作品由龢鳴樂坊演奏。

由香港電台、廣東人民電台合辦，於廣州天河體育館舉行。這場省港粵演劇匯演，歌星陣容鼎盛，包括紅線女、新馬師曾、張學友、劉德華等，一起為中國山區失學兒童籌款建校傾力演出。

曾為小明星作伴奏的粵樂家王粵生先生(1919-1989)，精通多種中西樂器，同時亦是一位傑出的作曲家，作品超過一百首，其中《紅燭淚》、《銀塘吐艷》、《懷舊》、《檳城艷》等更是上佳之作。今次王粵生先生在節目教授唱二王的技巧。

又名《賣絨花》及《三不願意》，是京劇經典之一。故事講述秀春和鄧文煥是要好的一對，但秀春之兄崔華見鄧家清貧並想悔婚，後被崔八知道，暗地幫秀春和林文煥擺脫崔華之詭計，令二人可共諧連理。戲中對白生鬼，情節緊扣，是一齣大團圓的喜劇。
